The Ladies of Liberty Alliance is thrilled to welcome two outstanding professionals to our Board of Advisors. LOLA’s advisory board offers support, guidance, and contributes to our goal of addressing the shortage of women in the liberty movement. Deirdre Nansen McCloskey

Distinguished Professor of Economics, History, English, and Communication

Deirdre Nansen McCloskey is Distinguished Professor Emerita of Economics and of History, and Professor Emerita of English and of Communication, at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Trained at Harvard in the 1960s as an economist, she has written twenty books and some four hundred academic articles on economic theory, economic history, philosophy, rhetoric, statistical theory, feminism, ethics, and law.

Antonella Marty

Political Scientist, Argentine Libertarian Author, International Lecturer and Internationalist

Antonella Marty is an Argentine libertarian author, international lecturer, political scientist and internationalist. Described as one of the greatest voices of classical liberalism, she has made lecture tours around the world in favor of freedom. Recognized for her debates with socialists from all over Latin America, Marty is also a libertarian author of four books and the host of the podcast Hablemos Libertad.

Antonella studied international relations and political science at the Inter-American Open University in the city of Rosario, Argentina, completed a master’s degree in Public Policy at the Torcuato Di Tella University, and later obtained a diploma in Political Marketing at the Austral University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.


Antonella is Associate Director of PR & Influencer Relations and Senior Fellow of the Center for Latin America at Atlas Network (USA) and Director of the Center for Latin American Studies of the Libertad Foundation (Argentina). Marty is also a Senior Fellow of the International Foundation for Freedom (FIL) in Madrid, Spain, chaired by the Nobel Prize in Literature Mario Vargas Llosa and Latam Policy Fellow of the Consumer Choice Center. She is also the CEO of Sociedad Atlas and Senior Fellow of The Atlas Society.
