It’s been a rough year. Let us cheer you up with 10 inspiring highlights from this year.

1) In 2020, libertarian leaders have launched their own LOLA Chapters in 10 new locations including Argentina, Bangladesh, Uruguay, Nigeria, Brazil and more — continuing LOLA’s mission to educate and empower female leaders in the liberty movement.

2. LOLA Uruguay (also known as LOLA Uruguay) captured the attention of political figures such as Uruguay’s first female Vice President, Beatriz Argimon, with a discussion on women in politics, libertarian feminism and more on International Women’s Day.


3. LOLA celebrated it’s 11th birthday! Eleven years of educating and empowering women in the liberty movement. Watch as ladies of liberty across the globe wish LOLA a Happy Birthday.

LOLA Oshogbo, Nigeria’s first event

4. LOLA Nigeria launches its fourth Chapter in Oshogbo State and remains one of LOLAs most active Chapters working to spread libertarian ideology to new women in Nigeria.

5. LOLA Brazil continues to grow as it launches its 12th Chapter in their country: LOLA Ceará. Ladies of Liberty in Brazil report that more than half of its members were introduced to the ideas of liberty for the first time through LOLA.

6. Six members of LOLA Brazil won their elections to city council under Brazil’s new libertarian party called NOVO. Though LOLA is not a political organization, we support and encourage members to be politically active.

7. LOLA Argentina is now in 3 cities including Santiago del Estero, Mendoza and Buenos Aires.

8. LOLA Colombia launches its second Chapter in the city of Cali after its initial launch in its countries capital in Bogotá.

9. LOLA Mumbai launched their Chapter this year by hosting virtual events attracting hundreds of liberty-minded attendees.


10. LOLA grew to 62 Chapters, 22 Countries, and 2,000 women this year.
