About the Leadership Retreat / Acerca del Retiro de Liderazgo:
This is a weekend-long retreat dedicated to training LOLAs as top leaders from cities across Latin America and the Caribbean. Join us in Montevideo, Uruguay, from Friday, April 5th, to Monday, April 8th, to be trained in several areas and follow the path of Freedom.
During the three days of training, you will learn from top leaders in the liberty movement on various topics, including political activism, digital training, chapter engagement, and more! This year’s theme is Libertarian Icons! Get ready for a historical tour through the tremendous Libertarian figures, training the women leaders of the future.
(The LOLA Leadership retreat is a limited-space event with priority given to the most active LOLA Chapter Leaders)
Este es un retiro de fin de semana dedicado a capacitar a las LOLAs como principales líderes de ciudades en toda América Latina y el Caribe. Únete a nosotros en Montevideo, Uruguay, desde el viernes 5 de abril hasta el lunes 8 de abril, para recibir formación en diversas áreas y seguir el camino de la Libertad.
Durante los tres días de formación, aprenderás de los principales líderes del movimiento libertario sobre diversos temas, como activismo político, entrenamiento digital, participación en capítulos y más. ¡Este año, nuestro tema es Íconos Libertarios! Por lo que prepárate para una recorrida histórica a través de las grandes figuras Libertarios para formar a las grandes líderes del futuro.

Where to arrive Thursday night (April 5th) / Dónde llegar:
International Airport, Carrasco, Montevideo, Uruguay.
On 05/04, you can check into the hotel from 2 pm. You can leave your bags in the hotel’s luggage locker if you arrive earlier. Our retreat will start on 05/04 at 18:00, so plan to be in Montevideo at least 3 hours before the scheduled time.
Check-in: 05/04 from 14:00 hours
Check-out: 08/04 by 12:00 hours

Option 1) With sponsors’ support, we are delighted to announce that LOLA will cover your stay for free at Selina Montevideo from April 5th to April 8th (please note the check-in and check-out times above). The rooms will be shared between 4 or 6 LOLAs, allowing you to connect with other leaders and build meaningful connections. If you want to stay at the hotel, please let us know to secure your place.
Option 2) There are several hotel options in Montevideo if you choose not to stay at Selina. We recommend checking Airbnb or Booking. Please note that this option will be at your own expense.
Opción 1) Nos complace anunciar que LOLA, con el apoyo de patrocinadores, cubrirá tu estancia de forma gratuita en Selina Montevideo desde el 5 hasta el 8 de abril (ten en cuenta los horarios de check-in y check-out mencionados arriba). Las habitaciones se compartirán entre 4 o 6 LOLAs, lo que te permitirá conectar con otros líderes y establecer conexiones significativas. Si prefieres hospedarte en el hotel, háznoslo saber para asegurar tu lugar.
Opción 2) Hay varias opciones de hoteles en Montevideo si decides no quedarte en Hostel Salina. Recomendamos revisar Airbnb o Booking. Ten en cuenta que esta opción correrá por tu cuenta.

We recommend business casual attire. Please keep in mind that we will have a professional photoshoot during the retreat; the specific day will be announced soon. Dress accordingly.

Food/ Comida:
We are delighted to inform you that we will be covering your meals throughout the entire retreat, from April 5th to April 8th. The meal schedule is as follows:
- Friday – Dinner;
- Saturday – Breakfast, lunch, and dinner;
- Sunday – Breakfast, lunch, and dinner;
- Monday – Breakfast.
Nos complace informarte que cubriremos tus comidas durante todo el retiro, desde el 5 hasta el 8 de abril. El horario de comidas es el siguiente:

Saturday Night Mixer
On Saturday, April 5th, we will host our annual Happy Hour. This social gathering will be open to all leadership participants, retreat sponsors, and local leaders. Feel free to invite friends who share a passion for freedom!
*Please be aware that attendance at this event is mandatory for all retreat participants.

Please keep in mind that the weather in Montevideo, Uruguay, in April ranges from 16°C to 21°C. We recommend dressing accordingly.
