LILA Uruguay Chapter Leaders Sabrina Riveiro and Maria Jose Fernandez authored an opinion article featured in El Pais. In their piece, they discuss libertarian feminism and explain why classical liberalism and feminism are not opposing causes.

 

Kat Murti of LOLA DC and Feminists for Liberty spoke about libertarian feminism with New Wave Feminists on Instagram Live with Sabertooth Gudan!

 

Maria Alejandra Londono, Director of the Libertarian Movement of Colombia and a member of the LOLA Speakers Bureau was invited to speak at a virtual forum entitled ‘Women Without Borders 2020’. She joined 11 other powerful female leaders from across the globe.

 

Cecilia Lopes, President of LOLA Brasil, recently published a new article in Terraço Econômico where she discusses the role of female leaders in the current Covid-19 pandemic.

In Distrito Federal, Brazil Ladies of Liberty have used their time in quarantine to host speakers virtually. LOLA Member and activist, Mariana Valentim delivered a virtual lecture on her experience advocating for the rights of transgender people in Brazil.

 

LOLA’s Communications and Outreach Manager, Holly Jean Soto, joined The Atlas Society (TAS) CEO, Jennifer Grossman, to discuss all things objectivism and Ladies of Liberty.
