LOLA Brazil
Lola Brazil takes its first steps to become a nonprofit in Brazil
On January 23rd, LOLA Brazil held its first official assembly, one of the required steps by Brazil’s bureaucracy in order to file as an official nonprofit in the country. LOLA Brazil now has 38 signatures from 38 Ladies of Liberty, who are now founding members of this amazing Chapter.

Celebrating the election of six city council women who are also LOLAs!
Six members of LOLA chapters in Brazil have won their elections to city council under Brazil’s libertarian party- ‘Novo’. Though LOLA is not a political organization, we support and encourage members to be politically active and we are inspired by this news. City council women meet in celebration of their recent election.

Liberty and the Need For Women Participation
LOLA Communications and Outreach Manager, Holly Jean Soto, joined the LOLA Ghana Chapter to talk about how LOLA is addressing the need for particiption of women in the liberty movement.

Assembly of Political Women of the Americas 2020
Ladies of Liberty, Catalina Saire and Nina Agustina, were invited to speak at the Assembly of Political Women of the Americas 2020 on the topic of Latin American women leaders for freedom. They talked about their work as libertarian leaders, their contribution to the liberty movement and women empowerment in Latin America. Keep up the great work ladies!

LOLA Brazil launched a new chapter in Rio Grande do Sul, the southernmost state in Brazil. LOLA is officially present in the entire south region of the country. Welcome Ladies of Liberty!

Marina Zonis has joined the LOLA Team as the new Social Media Coordinator. Marina is a Business Lawyer in Brazil and has been involved with LOLA since 2019. She serves as the Social Media Lead and Director of Communications of LOLA Brazil. She is passionate about limited government, libertarian feminism, women’s rights, and Japanese food.
