Monthly Book Club

Ladies of Liberty met virtually to discuss the third chapter of Milton Friedman’s book Livre Para Escolher: The Anatomy of the Crisis. All ladies interested in the ideas of liberty were encouraged to attend and share their viewpoints during a constructive debate.

Golden Law

On May 13th, the signing of the Golden Law by Princess Elizabeth is celebrated. However, it is heavily debated whether it is a day to celebrate. LOLA Brazil invited two of its members Aline Torres, from the chapter of São Paulo, and Victoria Magalhães, from the chapter of Rio de Janeiro to speak on the subject and bring a classically liberal perspective.
