Background
Irune Ariño holds a degree in Political Science from Pompeu Fabra University. She is the current Deputy Director at Instituto Juan de Mariana, a classical liberal think tank based in Madrid. Irune joined SFL in 2014 as a Local Coordinator, three years later she became Regional Director for Spain and Portugal, and right now she is working as Events Associate in Europe. Her fields of research are libertarian feminism, ethics, animal rights, and education. She has coordinated research on mainstream feminism at Juan de Mariana Institute and has written a chapter about the future of education in a book coordinated by Institut Ostrom Catalunya think tank titled "The Liberal Response". She is also an occasional collaborator in some Spanish digital media as Libertad Digital or El Español.
