Antonella Marty grew up in Rosario, Argentina, where the Socialist Party of Argentina maintains an electoral stronghold. In fact, since 1989, every mayor of Rosario has been a socialist. She received her bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Universidad Abierta Interamericana and her master’s degree in Public Policy from the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. She was also actively involved with one of the most active pro-liberty think tanks in Argentina, Fundación Libertad, where she is the Director of the Center for American Studies. She also worked at the Cato Institute, The IFEF, and Cedice Libertad. She is also the Director at the Center for Latin American Studies at Fundación Libertad and recently became the Associate Director at the Atlas Network’s Center for Latin America. Antonella is also a skilled researcher and author of three books The Intellectual Populist Dictatorship (2015), What Every Socialist in the 21st Century Should Know (2018) and Capitalism: an antidote against poverty (2019).
