Background

I'm Venezuelan, I started my political way in 2014 when I co-founded a student movement in my university Santa María where my team and I organized pacific protests against the Venezuelan regimen and against the human rights violations of students in Venezuela. Additionally, I participated as a collaborator in the organization of diverse political campaigns of the opposition in Barinas state. My biggest participation in this field was to lead the management of teams in the elections of the Student Center in my University, being our group the elect one. In 2016, I started a campaign in media to talk about women's rights and feminism, including the organization of forums, as a result of the murder of a woman student, which death question the reality of the violence against women in Barinas state. Subsequently, after finishing my studies at low, I dedicated myself to recording human rights violations in the context of the protests in Barinas state during 2016 and 2017, because of this and the censorship of the media, I was interviewed for local, national and international media press. Unfortunately, this work had a consequence that I got an arrest order from a military judgment, which forced me to be exiled from Venezuela to save my freedom, health and even life. Once in Argentina, I continued working in the human rights field, participating in meetings with the government and ONGs about Venezuelan migration, emphasizing the Venezuelan women's difficulties to access formal work. Due to this really I co-found an organization called STEMujeres to boost the interest of Venezuelan women in technology. Currently, I'm the general coordinator in Argentina of the Venezuelan political party Vente Venezuela lead for the political leader María Corina Machado, in which I have the responsibility of reporting the human rights violations of the Venezuelan Dictatorship, divulging information about the Venezuelan crisis and additionally talking about women's rights in Venezuela and feminist.
