Cecilia “Cece” Cervantes is the On-Campus Education Project Manager at IHS. She believes in the unique potential and human dignity of every individual and their intrinsic liberty to act upon that unique potential. She believes that when society allows individuals to flourish, they bring about a peaceful and just world that topples artificial barriers and brings about human equality and tolerance. At IHS,  she supports a team that equips and empowers students and professors that are interested in using their unique talents to bring about a just, peaceful and thriving world. She was recently interviewed by Teen Vogue (see the videos here and here!), as well as Reason TV, sharing her libertarian views and support for the Women’s March.

Along with a co-chair, she leads the DC Chapter of Ladies of Liberty Alliance. She also moonlights as a volunteer teacher at local charities. Cece is interested in pedagogy, theology, war ethics, and the advancement of peace and human dignity. She is an alumna of the University of Portland and American University where she studied political science, Spanish literature and law. In her free time she can be found searching for tea, watching Criterion Collection films, and exchanging book recommendations.
