LOLA 2016: Year in Review

I am excited to share how LOLA has been amplifying the liberty movement by engaging women and creating a network of empowered female ambassadors for liberty.

Check out some of this year’s highlights and what we will be doing in 2017!

In 2016 we have…

PROMOTED PROFESSIONAL LADIES OF LIBERTY

This year we have exceeded 100 members of our Speakers Bureau. Each one of these speakers is dedicated to advancing a free society and LOLA is happy to provide the only database of liberty-minded female leaders available to event organizers and media. We look forward to adding more members to our Speakers Bureau in 2017!

JOINED WITH LADIES OF LIBERTY FROM AROUND THE WORLD

This past May, LOLA President and Chairwoman, Nena Whitfield, spoke on a European Students for Liberty panel in Israel to discuss libertarian philosophy and the role women play in the advancement of the worldwide freedom movement. Click here to watch.

BUILT COMMUNITIES OF LIBERTY-MINDED WOMEN

LOLA celebrated the launch of our first international chapter this past August in Tel Aviv, Israel. They have made great strides in their short time as a chapter and their efforts were highlighted by the Atlas Network’s World10 Report featuring the top 10 happenings in the worldwide freedom movement. TRAINED LOLA’S TOP LEADERS

LOLA hosted our first Leadership Retreat in Washington, D.C. in October. Twenty LOLA Leaders from around the United States, Europe, and Asia spent a weekend training to become impactful communicators, promote their philosophy amongst women, and share messages and policies that offer the most opportunity to individuals and families in their communities.
IN 2017,
WE WILL STRATEGICALLY EXPAND ALL OF OUR EFFORTS TO:
Bring communications and professional development training to the chapters–reaching women in at least 10 new cities;
Collaborate with free market organizations all over the country to grow their female audience AND connect our participants with opportunities to get involved with these groups in their communities;
Grow the number of Speakers Bureau members while actively promoting them to groups and event organizers– ensuring our movement’s leading female voices are being heard; And,
Respond to the demand from women all over the world by helping launch LOLA Social chapters in 5 new communities, bringing the number of LOLA Social groups to over 30.
