In June, chapters hosted 35+ events across five regions, covering topics from libertarian feminism and constitutional limits on state power to financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and the historical roots of liberty movements. Films, books, and personal stories were used to explore resilience and hard choices, while other sessions built practical skills in communication and community-building.

Read on to see what your fellow chapters were up to this month.

Brazil

Brazil’s 14 events covered a wide range of ground, from the historical evolution of liberty ideas and the economic consequences of government intervention to financial crimes, capital flight, and cryptocurrencies. Chapters also explored self-knowledge and purpose through study, authentic leadership rooted in vulnerability, and the challenges facing young leaders under 30. Several sessions were more informal or celebratory, including political discussions during election season and women gathering to cheer on the national team

North America

LOLA United States had one tabling this month, and it was a strong one. Galt’s Gulch, the Atlas Society’s annual Objectivism conference, saw LOLAs tabling and making the most of every opportunity to connect and build relationships with attendees. The conference also featured a women-only social event, organized by us, giving female attendees a dedicated space to connect and network.

The highlight came in Atlas’s new reel content, where LOLAs took all three top spots. It’s a clear signal of the talent and presence our members bring to these spaces.

Africa

Our teams across Africa are busy preparing for their upcoming retreat (more on that soon), but our team in Namibia still made time for an event this month. The session focused on building awareness around mental health and how women can prevent burnout while staying productive.

Asia

Asia hosted 7 events covering a broad mix of topics, from environmental responsibility and entrepreneurship to leadership development and legal advocacy. Chapters used film and roundtable discussions to explore resilience and decision-making, launched a new regional chapter, and held a major forum on women’s legal rights, consent, and bodily autonomy for more than 50 young participants. Other sessions focused on building confidence, communication, and leadership skills to help women navigate challenges and step into future leadership roles.
