Dr. Amy H. Sturgis is an author, speaker, and scholar of science fiction/fantasy studies and Native American studies. She earned her Ph.D. in intellectual history from Vanderbilt University, serves as the Department Chair of Language and Literature at the innovative Mythgard Institute at Signum University, also teaches Liberal Studies at Lenoir-Rhyne University, and contributes to the Hugo Award winning StarShipSofa podcast and Reason Magazine.
