Thanks to LOLA, I finally don’t feel alone in the philosophy I stand for and the views I have. LOLA is such a breath of fresh air among the prevalent mainstream narrative of more government control and socialist ideas, especially among women. As someone who comes from a post-communist country like Poland, I feel that LOLA’s mission is more important than ever. 

Anytime I talk to LOLA’s chapter leaders around the globe, I’m awed by their passion, commitment and hard work. I definitely learned a lot about leadership and saw firsthand how our individual differences, strengths and cultural backgrounds work their magic when we’re united in one mission.
I learned to say “no” more often and became more confident in my career-oriented decisions. I finally trust my own judgment in a way that reassures me that I’ll be okay, no matter what happens in my country. LOLA has taught me the power of individualism over collectivism. The government changes constantly, but my work ethic and self-reliance will remain the same.

The importance of Ladies of Liberty Alliance (LOLA) to me, both on a personal & national level is profound & multifaceted. As a business owner, I firmly believe in the transformative power of free markets & the endless possibilities that arise when individuals, particularly women, are provided with the right resources & opportunities.

LOLA embodies this belief by emphasizing the significance of individual liberty & the freedom to forge one’s own path. Additionally, as a coach dedicated to empowering women & young adults, I recognize the urgent need to create environments where women not only feel heard, but also empowered. We are living in a time where the mental health crisis (most important to me) is reaching unprecedented levels & women often bear an unequal burden of societal & familial pressures, especially related to the mainstream narrative of feminism. LOLA champions mental freedom alongside political and economic freedom. By embracing liberty in all its forms, we foster an atmosphere where women can challenge the mainstream leftist feminist narrative & break away from the victim-based mindset.

Together, we can create a society where every woman is empowered to thrive & contribute to the betterment of our great nation because of CAPITALISM. Let us stand united & uphold the causes of liberty, well-being & empowerment for they are the true catalysts of progress & prosperity.

LOLA is important for my country because there is no safe space for libertarian women like me, where we can identify with the ideas of freedom, where we can also comfortably express ourselves with the ideas and positions we have to improve our environment. There are no spaces to learn more about libertarianism. In my State, which is considered one of the most socialist and one of the poorest in the country, there is no space with which we can develop.
LOLA has motivated me a lot not to give up, seeing that I am not alone and that there are more brilliant women who are interested in the cultural battle for freedom, because they love progress and development of both themselves and their communities. That makes me admire LOLA, the members of LOLA and therefore be proud to belong to such an extraordinary community.

LOLA provides the essential space for fostering dialogue, understanding, and empowerment among women who champion libertarian ideals. It seeks to bridge the gap and offer activities that contribute to a more comprehensive and holistic approach to liberalism. Our mission is to create a harmonious blend of perspectives, breaking away from the constraints of conventional thought.

Absolutely, there’s a particular moment within my journey with LOLA that left a profound impact on me. It was during one of our regular meetings when we were discussing a complex societal issue. In the past, I would often hold back my opinions or ideas, fearing that they might not align with the mainstream narrative or that I might face resistance. However, within the safe and supportive environment of LOLA, I felt encouraged to voice my thoughts.

Through engaging discussions, workshops, and interactions with fellow LOLAs, I’ve gained a deeper comprehension of the nuances within libertarianism, which has significantly improved the accuracy and depth of my portrayals of libertarian characters and ideas in both fiction and nonfiction writing.

LOLA’s contribution in my personal and professional life has been amazing.The ability to speak  in public as a woman and socialize with different people to accept their views even if it contradicts with mine. This has extended to even help me in my career as an entrepreneur and a working woman to be able to engage with more clients.

Being bold and assertive needs some level of consistent practice and LOLA through the years I have worked with has really groomed me towards that direction.I speak for women and stand up for myself even in my professional career. Which is a very good impact in my life.

LOLA is important in the U.S. because Liberty must be won anew in each and every generation. Unfortunately, liberty is often taken for granted and it is so important to be reminded that we can’t take our eye off the ball or it can be taken away.

I was inspired by our first Los Angeles meeting and to realize so many women were already liberty-minded without actually knowing that their values aligned with libertarianism. It gave me hope for the future to know that with more information and opportunities women are actually ready to fight to protect liberty.

LOLA has impacted the way I run my practice as a corporate lawyer. I now feel empowered to incorporate the values of freedom, individualism, and independence into all my systems and in the counsel I provide to business clients.

Nepal, like many countries, faces gender disparities and challenges related to women’s rights. As a woman in Nepalese society I am interested to help women out there speak up and never get threatened with any kind of society’s double standards. I found out that Ladies of Liberty Alliance can play a crucial role in empowering women by promoting economic freedom, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance, which can help women gain financial independence and improve their overall well-being. LOLA’s focus on women’s empowerment, economic freedom, and advocacy aligns with the needs and challenges faced by women in Nepal. Through its activities and initiatives, I believe Ladies of Liberty Alliance -Nepal Chapter can contribute to create a positive change in the country, ultimately benefiting both women and society as a whole.

Serving as the Chapter Leader has provided me with invaluable leadership experience. Coordinating events, managing a team, and representing LOLA in Nepal have honed my leadership skills and boosted my confidence. LOLA’s global network has connected me with like-minded individuals from around the world. As I recently joined Asia Liberty Forum 2023 organized by Atlas Network, Ladies of Liberty Alliance’s network has been a source of inspiration and support, allowing me to learn from others’ experiences and exchange ideas with libertarians from diverse backgrounds. Our emphasis on advocacy and outreach has enabled me to become more effective in promoting libertarian principles in Nepal. Through workshops, seminars, and outreach programs, I’ve been able to engage with a broader audience and articulate the importance of individual liberty.LOLA’s focus on personal development and empowerment has been transformative. It has encouraged me to take on challenges, expand my horizons, and develop a growth mindset.Our organization is a space where I can seek advice, share experiences, and receive support from fellow libertarian women who understand the unique challenges and opportunities we face.LOLA has provided a platform for me to amplify my voice and advocate for libertarian ideas. LOLA has not only enriched my understanding of libertarian principles but also empowered me to be a more effective advocate for these ideas in Nepal.

A libertarian community has been developing in Guatemala until a few years ago. When I began to approach the ideas of liberty, the few organizations that existed were not very active. The level of women’s involvement even in these movements was low and being part of LOLA made perfect sense to me. Having a platform and community where more women can get involved in the ideas of freedom is something new and important for Guatemala. Without the existence of LOLA in Guatemala, the mechanisms to train libertarian women are very limited.

Although I have been academically trained at a university that promotes the ideas of freedom, being part of LOLA has allowed me to meet more women with perspectives that have taught me to be competent in defending my ideals. The woman-to-woman networking, meeting public figures like the LOLA speakers and participating in the events that each chapter promotes makes me feel more confident about myself and what I can achieve personally and professionally.

Even with college networking being part of lola has positioned me in the libertarian sphere. When there are visitors at the university I can tell them about lola, if they don’t already know what it is. This is a much more professional approach than just introducing myself as a student at the university. It makes me part of the libertarian community while being part of LOLA as an organization that advances the ideas of freedom for Guatemalan women, in my case, something very attractive to discuss.

LOLA truly is the home to address women and any issue surrounding them.In a world where everyone wants to solve women’s liberties by oppressing them, LOLA offers a working libertarian solution to these problems. I’m fortunate to have found a community that respects every individual and continues to strive in protecting their personal freedom.
