LOLA at YALCON San Francisco 2025
📍8th-9th March, 2025

LOLA USA made a powerful impact during YAL Con with a focus on expanding LOLA chapters in Los Angeles and San Francisco, while strengthening ties with Young Americans for Liberty (YAL). The event was an incredible opportunity to connect with liberty-minded women, engage with influential donors and partners like Chris Rufer and John Inks, and learn from key figures in the liberty movement. Sessions highlighted the importance of bringing pro-liberty ideas to college campuses, fostering potential LOLA College Chapters, and working closely with organizations like YAL and Turning Point USA. Notably, Serena Barker’s role in advancing constitutional carry in Florida inspired future collaboration opportunities. Chris Rufer’s insightful presentation on libertarianism as a philosophy of human respect resonated deeply, while Jennifer Anju Grossman (JAG) promoted the Atlas Society and upcoming Galt’s Gulch event in Austin, Texas.

Following YAL Con, LOLA USA hosted the Sweet as Dessert Afterparty to build stronger connections with YAL and recruit members for the LOLA SF Bay Area chapter. The event fostered meaningful conversations on the importance of increasing female representation in the liberty movement and developing new outreach strategies. One key insight came from a YAL representative at UCSC, who emphasized that LOLA’s principles would resonate with many women on campus and encouraged targeted outreach. The afterparty not only expanded the LOLA network but also laid the groundwork for future collaboration and growth in the liberty community.
