Position Summary

The position of Project Management Assistant is dedicated to supporting the María Oropeza Activism Fellowship (MOAF), a key part of LOLA’s Leadership Training Program. The Fellowship aims to train, support, and empower activists within LOLA by providing them with tools and knowledge to enhance their effectiveness, strengthen their presence, and create a meaningful impact on the causes they passionately advocate for. The MOAF IS now entering its second phase, where the focus shifts to supporting the top 12 libertarian women activists of LOLA as they complete the remaining program modules, achieve their goals, and bring their diverse projects to fruition. As an intern, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of this groundbreaking initiative, directly contributing to the development of a transformative program that empowers these exceptional women to amplify their impact on the liberty movement. 

Requirements

  • Must identify as a libertarian woman.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both individually and within a team setting.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English.
  • Able to commit 15-20 hours per week.
  • Exhibits a proactive and adaptable approach to changes and challenges.
  • Proficient in using Google Workspace tools.
  • Familiarity with Slack and Notion is a plus but not mandatory.

 

Responsibilities

  • Proven passion for libertarian ideas and LOLA’s mission to educate and empower women in the liberty movement. Must demonstrate a deep understanding and enthusiasm for libertarian ideology.
  • Develop and distribute monthly newsletters and email communications to Fellows.
  • Maintain and update organizational databases to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Oversee content creation, editing, and organization for the Fellowship’s webpage.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Project Manager and Project Coordinator.
  • Curate and compile resource and compendium lists for the Fellowship program.
  • Conduct research to support program initiatives and decision-making.
  • Create, organize, and manage documents to streamline information accessibility.
  • Design visually engaging materials and assets using Canva.
  • Maintain organized records and reports for efficient documentation and tracking.
