Location: Remote
Hours/ Flexibility: This is a full- time role, 40 hrs/ week with flexibility between 9-6pm ET.
Pay: Commensurate with experience and LOLA’s budget
Position Summary
The Digital Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of both internal and external communication strategies. Their duties include managing external communication channels including social media platforms, emails/newsletters, LOLAs website, strategic partnerships, and internal communications including chapter communication strategies and materials. The Manager ensures that all communication strategies are consistent throughout the organization and leads teams in executing goals.

These qualifications are essential to ensure alignment with our values and goals.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a management position.
- Proven passion for libertarian ideas and LOLA’s mission to educate and empower women in the liberty movement. Must demonstrate a deep understanding and enthusiasm for libertarian ideology.
- Must have proven leadership in LOLA or actively supports/contributes to the organization’s mission and growth.
- Fluent in English and excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must be quick in responding to emails/ messages
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once while meeting assigned deadlines.
- A track record of representing libertarian ideas through involvement with LOLA or other personal/professional endeavors.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Effectively communicates where they are on all stages of the project assigned.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally while representing LOLA’s friendly tone.
Duties & Responsibilities
Social Media
- Lead the development and execution of LOLA’s social media strategy across all platforms that builds meaningful connections and encourages LOLAs audience to stay engaged or take action.
- Lead team in finding/creating content that promotes libertarian ideas in a way that is appealing to new audiences at any level or political background to change more people’s minds and/or introduce new people to libertarian ideas.
- Optimize and regularly update LOLAs pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the organizations social content/brand and creates the LOLA community feeling.
- Manage day-to-day activities on LOLA’s social media channels, including scheduling/planning posts, responding to comments, engaging with followers, creating unique LOLA content, assisting team members, and more.
- Manage content strategy and process from concept to completion, including overseeing creative/content development, organizing and tracking campaigns, and project timelines.
- Stays up to date on emerging marketing analytics trends and best practices, and makes recommendations for how to incorporate them into LOLAs marketing strategy to drive growth.
- Develops and presents regular reports to the social media team on campaign performance, including new followers, new chapter sign ups, and other relevant metrics.
- Ensure LOLAs response time to messages and inquiries (24-48 hours) is meet across all platforms.
- Coordinate and communicate with social media team on dividing work, delegating projects and establishing deadlines.
- Create unique content for LOLA and establish and grow partnerships/collaborations with like-minded individuals and organizations.
Communications
- Build, create, and/or edit communications guidelines and strategies for the organization that are informative and consistent internally and externally, while conveying LOLAs friendliness, tone, and personality.
- Manage and implement effective communication strategies internally and externally that build LOLAs chapter programs, brand awareness, partner relationships, and member satisfaction.
- Stays up to date and connected with LOLA Chapter activities and individual relationships with leaders to implement effective communication strategies and find solutions to communication issues within chapters.
- Work with different LOLA departments to generate new ideas and strategies.
- Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.
- Oversee and edit LOLAs emails and email marketing strategy. Analyze and report MailChimp analytics.
- Assist with other duties as needed.
