LOLA at Freedom Fest 2025

LOLA at Freedom Fest

📍Palm Springs, California, June 11–14, 2025

Earlier this June, LOLA was part of FreedomFest, one of the world’s largest and most dynamic celebrations of liberty. Bringing together over 2,000 attendees, including economists, entrepreneurs, artists, educators, journalists, students, and advocates from across the political spectrum. Over four packed days, participants explored ideas of free markets, civil liberties, personal autonomy, and limited government through more than 250 panels, debates, keynote talks, film screenings, and networking socials.

As a proud returning partner, LOLA’s booth quickly became a vibrant hub of connection, curiosity, and collaboration. With our signature pink accents and empowering energy, we welcomed a steady flow of attendees eager to learn more about our mission and how LOLA supports women around the world to lead, speak up, and organize for liberty.

For four days, our team helped amplify the message that freedom is something we live, defend, and grow together.

One of the most impactful moments of the week was the panel discussion “Whose Body? Whose Choice? A Conversation on Autonomy, Rights, and Personal Freedom.” This powerful session tackled one of the most pressing and politically charged issues in our time: bodily autonomy. The panel featured three fearless and deeply knowledgeable LOLAs who brought diverse expertise and lived experience to the conversation:

🌍 Izabela Patriota, Director of Development at LOLA, shared insights from her work supporting women in over 58 countries. With a background in law and political economy, she spoke about the intersections of individual rights, state power, and how policy decisions around women’s health often reflect deeper authoritarian tendencies. “The battle for freedom starts with ownership of one’s body,” she reminded the audience.

💡 Martha Bueno, liberty advocate, entrepreneur, and political disruptor, delivered a compelling defense of medical autonomy and property rights. She spoke to the importance of preserving freedom of choice, especially in communities that are often marginalized or manipulated by coercive government policies.

🧠 Dr. Nancey Tsai, neurosurgeon and medical freedom advocate, brought clinical depth to the conversation, sharing real-world cases where government interference in medicine undermines both patient trust and health outcomes. Her presence grounded the discussion in science, ethics, and urgent reality.

Together, the panelists issued a bold call: bodily autonomy is not up for debate.

Another unforgettable moment was our LOLA FreedomFest Cabana Social at the Palm Springs Surf Club. Set against a backdrop of sunshine and palm trees, the event offered a relaxed and fun space for conversation, community-building, and celebrating the global sisterhood of LOLA. New friendships were sparked, ideas were exchanged, and the LOLA spirit was felt in every laugh and handshake.

We left FreedomFest re-energized by the support, curiosity, and solidarity we encountered from LOLAs across the movement.

To everyone who stopped by our booth, joined the conversation, or danced with us at the cabana: thank you. Your support help us build a freer world.
