MARIA OROPEZA ACTIVISM FELLOWSHIP
In 2024, LOLA launched the Maria Oropeza Activism Fellowship—the first-ever fellowship program specifically designed for libertarian activists—equipping the next generation of liberty leaders.
The fellowship has already provided:

WINNING THE ATLAS NETWORK ELEVATOR PITCH COMPETITION
One of our proudest moments was Anne Dias’ inspiring pitch at the Atlas Network Liberty Forum & Freedom Dinner. Her advocacy for Maria Oropeza’s freedom captivated the audience and earned her the John Blundell Elevator Pitch Competition award, shining a spotlight on LOLA’s dedication to justice and human rights.
UNPRECEDENTED GLOBAL REACH
LOLA expanded its reach with 43 new chapters in 2024, supported by a growing network of 345 chapter leaders. Our leaders represented LOLA at 26 conferences, forging connections and amplifying the message of liberty across the globe.

This year, LOLA’s chapter leaders hosted an incredible 401 events globally! These gatherings—including discussions on freedom, leadership workshops, and community engagement—brought together 26,973 attendees, strengthening the liberty movement worldwide.

In 2024, LOLA hosted 4 Leadership Retreats in Washington, D.C., Brazil, Montevideo, and Madrid, strengthening our fastest-growing regions.

MEDIA IMPACT: SHAPING CONVERSATIONS ON FREEDOM
LOLA members made waves in 2024 with 136 articles and op-eds published and 161 interviews and media appearances, bringing critical discussions on liberty and individual rights to the forefront. From Holly Jean Soto’s insights on “greedflation” to Cláudia Nunes’ advocacy for EU transparency, our voices are being heard on the global stage.
RECOGNIZING LOLA DHAKA & LOLA LUCKNOW CHAPTERS
