What began 16 years ago as one woman’s vision has become a vibrant, international network of women who believe in freedom, dignity, and personal agency.
LOLA is now active in dozens of countries, connecting women across cultures and continents who are advancing liberty in bold and creative ways. From organizing local chapters and hosting leadership retreats to speaking out in the media and driving change in their communities, LOLAs are proving that ideas of freedom have no borders.
This is more than an anniversary. It’s a celebration of what’s possible when women lead with purpose and a call to shape what comes next.
What does LOLA mean to you?
“LOLA gave me a true sense of belonging. It’s where I found my voice, grew as a leader, and connected with women who believe in freedom and opportunity. Through our events, I’ve grown personally and helped others do the same. Representing LOLA on international platforms has made me a more confident, capable leader. This isn’t just a network—it’s a movement that’s transformed my life.”
Mary Joyce Takali – LOLA Africa Regional Leader
“LOLA has given me amazing opportunities to form strong friendships and learn from a diverse group of woman from around the world.”
Caitlin Peters – LOLA North America Regional Leader

I found amazing friendships and learned how to become the best version of myself while sharing the values of liberty. Being a part of this family of spectacular women has reminded me that liberty isn’t a solitary fight, but rather a collective journey.”
