LOLA ON THE MAIN STAGE AT FREEDOMFEST 2024
At FreedomFest, LOLA took the main stage with Izabela Patriota, LOLAs Director of Development, powerful talk, captivating the audience with her deep insights on President Male’s significant influence in Latin and South America highlighting how his libertarian policies are inspiring and shaping leaders across the regions, focusing specifically on Brazil. Despite facing one of the worst inflation crises, Brazil is finding hope through these new policies and the work of organizations like LOLA is crucial in Brazil’s fight for freedom.
Izabela empahsized that there’s a growing movement towards a libertarian future, and even in the toughest economic times, the spirit of liberty remains strong.
GENERAL RECAP
At the LOLA table, we had an incredible opportunity to connect with over 2,000 attendees at FreedomFest. The support and encouragement we received were overwhelming. Many new faces learned about our mission and the important work we do. They were particularly impressed by our international presence and expressed eagerness to support, follow, or collaborate with us as we continue to spread the ideas of liberty through community engagement and training women to become effective ambassadors of liberty.
Throughout the event, we met enthusiastic new leaders from across the U.S. who are excited to start their own LOLA chapters. This signifies a growing network of empowered women dedicated to promoting liberty. Additionally, we established several promising partnerships and collaborations with like-minded organizations, setting the stage for future projects and initiatives.
One notable observation at FreedomFest was the unique and refreshing presence of LOLA. Amidst an audience predominantly composed of older men, LOLA stood out as a vibrant and intelligent voice of female leaders, which is so important. This underscored the essential role we play in the movement, highlighting the necessity of bringing libertarian women to the forefront and ensuring our ideas are heard on the main stage. Our presence at FreedomFest was a testament to the importance of diverse and dynamic voices in shaping the future of the liberty movement.
