The new year has arrived with extraordinary energy across the LOLA community. We’re launching 2026 with 27 events spanning the globe, each reflecting the unique spirit of our chapters worldwide.
From strategic planning sessions charting ambitious goals for the year ahead, to book launch celebrations and relaxed gatherings where members connect and recharge — our chapters are demonstrating the beautiful diversity of what it means to champion liberty.
Some are hitting the ground running with bold initiatives. Others are taking time to reflect and build the relationships that make our movement strong. Whether planning conferences, supporting creative projects, engaging in policy discussions, or simply sharing good conversation, our members are contributing to something larger than themselves.
Check out what our chapters accomplished this January:
LOLA BRAZIL
Our Brazil region kicked off the year with an impressive 10 events, showcasing the energy and diversity of our Brazilian chapters.
Members explored freedom through multiple lenses — from examining liberty in light of faith and religion, to mastering self-defense techniques that reinforce personal autonomy. Leadership discussions inspired by figures like Ayn Rand challenged participants to reflect on the kind of leaders they aspire to become.
The Brazilian chapters celebrated the launch of Gloria Álvarez’s new book in Portuguese, Como defender a liberdade sem se destruir no processo, sparking conversations about free speech, cancel culture, and emotional health in activism.
Beyond celebration, chapters focused on strategy and growth. São Paulo organized activities for 2026, Itapetininga recruited new members, and members examined Brazil’s political landscape and emerging threats to individual freedoms.

Events emphasized leadership development, economic freedom through entrepreneurship, public speaking skills, and legal rights awareness — all designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and strong networks among women.
In Peshawar, members explored the city’s living history and heritage sites, reconnecting with untold stories while encouraging dialogue on liberty, identity, and cultural traditions.
