This year’s LOLA Leadership Retreat will be hosted in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, from March 28th to 31st! Known for its rich history, cultural vibrancy, and longstanding tradition of political movements, Buenos Aires provides the perfect backdrop for gathering top LOLA leaders from across Latin America and the Caribbean for a transformative weekend of training, empowerment, and networking.

The theme for this edition is “LOLA Presidente”, and it will focus on preparing women for leadership roles in activism, and beyond. Over three days, participants will engage with influential figures in the liberty movement, digital engagement, and effective chapter leadership.

¡Este año,el Retiro de Liderazgo de LOLA,se llevará a cabo en la vibrante ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, del 28 al 31 de marzo!

Con su rica historia, vibrante energía cultural y una fuerte tradición de movimientos políticos, Buenos Aires es el lugar perfecto para reunir a las principales líderes de LOLA de toda América Latina y el Caribe para un fin de semana transformador de formación, empoderamiento y creación de redes.El tema de esta edición es “LOLA Presidente” y se centrará en preparar a las mujeres para asumir roles de liderazgo en el activismo y más allá.

Durante tres días, lasparticipantes interactuarán con figuras influyentes del movimiento libertario, participación digital y liderazgo efectivo en los capítulos.

We recommend business casual attire. Please keep in mind that we will have a professional photoshoot during the retreat; the specific day will be announced soon. Dress accordingly.

Food

LOLA will cover all your meals during the retreat. This includes:

● Saturday: Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, Dinner

Travel Stipends

All requests for the reimbursement will be reviewed by staff and are subject to the availability of resources and based on the greatest need with priority given to international travel. Please note that if you are selected to receive a travel stipend it will be in the form of reimbursement after your full participation at the LOLA Retreat.

Las solicitudes para los subsidios de viaje serán revisadas por el personal de LOLA, teniendo en cuenta la disponibilidad de recursos y las necesidades más urgentes, dando prioridad a los viajes internacionales. Optional City Tour

On Monday there will be an optional tour of the city for those who wish to see the tourist spots from Buenos Aires. If you are interested in participating, be sure to make your travel arrangements when purchasing your return ticket.
Please note: LOLA will not cover any meals or expenses related to the tour.

El lunes habrá un tour opcional por la ciudad para quienes deseen conocer los puntos turísticos de Buenos Aires. Si estás interesada en participar, asegúrate de organizar tus arreglos de viajeal comprar tu boleto de regreso.
