In this talk, Tania Rak, Co- Chapter Leader of LOLA Poland discusses the notable absence of women in the liberty movement and outlines two main obstacles to their participation. The first is an internal challenge, where women often feel isolated or alienated in predominantly male environments such as conferences. The second is an external issue, relating to the more effective communication of socialist ideologies to women. To address these challenges, Tania presents the Ladies of Liberty Alliance as a solution. This international organisation, active in over 100 countries with more than 4,000 women, aims to educate and empower women in various aspects of social and political life.
Tania also shares her personal reasons for being a part of the Ladies of Liberty Alliance, citing her experiences in Ukraine and Poland as well as her background in the tech industry. She emphasises the importance of forming supportive and intellectual communities of women who can contribute meaningfully to the liberty movement, thereby enriching society as a whole.
