Each generation of my family has had their own stories to tell that have inspired my own belief in liberty and encouraged me to keep up the fight.
At a young age I was intrigued by the ever present inequalities of our world. I felt it was my duty to stand up for those who could not stand up for themselves.
I grew up in a small suburb of Jackson, Mississippi, as an only child of a sweet southern gentlewoman and a Vietnam-era Airborne Ranger. I lived a pretty sheltered life.
