Neera K. Badhwar is an emeritus professor of philosophy at the University of Oklahoma. Neera is also a Philosopher-in-Residence at the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics Program in the Deptartment of Economics at George Mason University. She has recently published a book with Oxford University Press on virtue and happiness called Well-Being: Happiness in a Worthwhile Life. Other research interests of hers include international ethics and the role of markets in promoting civic friendship and civility.
