Emily Zanotti is a writer, comedian, blogger, and digital strategist, living in Chicago. Over the past decade, Emily has been a key voice in political commentary, writing political humor pieces for a variety of publications ranging from Slate and Daily Caller to National Review. Her blog, NakedDC, was a unique, engaging and funny take on political events. Since 2014, Emily has been writing exclusively for The American Spectator, where she serves as the editor of The Spectacle blog, and as their social media and digital outreach coordinator. In her professional life, Emily has spent the last ten years as a digital communications specialist, assisting political and public affairs campaigns in developing engaging and successful messaging plans. Starting on the Bush campaign in 2004, she's worked alongside the digital strategy departments of every Republican Presidential campaign, assisting digital communications departments in understanding the web and crafting messages specifically for social media.
