Alyson Martin is the co-author of A New Leaf: The End of Cannabis Prohibition, which was published by The New Press in February 2014. She has written for The New York Times, The Nation, and The Atlantic, among other publications, as a freelance journalist. In her free time, she appears on panels organized by great groups like Her Girl Friday and Out of the Binders. She participates in events like the Hacking Journalism gathering at Condé Nast and she collaborates and creates in settings like NYU's ITP camp . Alyson is a proud alumna of both the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and The College of Saint Rose.
